Half a million 'Plebs' killed off by 10 years of Tory Austerity by some accounts - i wonder how many more Plebs a Hard Brexit can kill off?

Getting people addicted to it. Affecting concentration etc. Psychological effects, physical effects. Also some benefits.
I am reading a book right now that recommends throwing away the TV. It stops short of no internet, just says limit use.
Re. AI, it's a minefield. Machines should be machines, not pretend humans.

I am reading a book right now that recommends throwing away the TV. It stops short of no internet, just says limit use. i got rid of my TV 10 years ago, i absolutely despise the TV. But it is very hard to get away from the TV / MSM / Advertising. Our society is totally saturated by it all. Trouble is how do we stop it? The World is in an arms race within all these AI & other areas of technology.

Yes, even if some countries regulate, doesn't mean other countries will. It's like nuclear technology, once it's unleashed it's out there & even the experts don't have a clue about the implications of AI. Am intelligence millions of times more intelligent than humanity, what could possibly go wrong?

That does not feel physical pain.
It's not even fun - any more than playing card games/poker with a computer rather than people would be.
Who would want to get beaten by some machine every time?
