It's still better than the current system but no doubt anything other than 100% success would lead mainstream psychiatry to dismiss it as nonsense.

The entire biomedical psychiatric / pharma / mental health system is largely all insane. All psychiatric drugs are poisons & all psychiatry really does it to disable people's brains. There are far far better ways of helping people. i can't fight the entire society / system around it all, & i tired - it makes no difference. i think that we have to wait for millions upon millions of people to get totally fucked up from it all before anything serious is done about the whole thing. The entire field of mental health & debate / discussion around it all is a total mess. There has to be some kind of unified model around the whole thing.

Why should i care as a 'mental patient' who has spoken out on it all for 30 years & just been largely ignored, denied & abused for it all? Society deserves what it gets now. & it's really the responsibility of the people in power to change it all, as you have always said.

They were telling me their expecting 1 out of every 2 on a medication of some sort by 2040 or 2050.
I myself Have been completely destroyed by the repeated relapses, wish I could of had something like open dialogue in the beginning. My illness was mild in comparison to these days.
Psychiatry is a money making machine.

Psychiatry is a money making machine. It's all potentially destructive - the illness, the hospital treatment, the meds. Not easy to find a way through.
