"The alchemist realizes that he himself is the Philosopher’s Stone, and that this stone is made diamond-like when the salt and the sulphur, or the spirit and the body, are united through mercury, the link of mind. Man is the incarnated principle of mind as the animal is of emotion. He stands with one foot on the heavens and the other on the earth. His higher being is lifted to the celestial spheres, but the lower man ties him to matter. Now the philosopher, building his sacred stone, is doing so by harmonizing his spirit and his body. The result is the Philosopher’s Stone. The hard knocks of life chip it away and facet it until it reflects lights from a million different angles."

THE INVERTED PENTAGRAM The inverted pentagram is the symbol of androgynous Baphomet, who represents the alchemical force or Kundalini. The words on his forearms, coagula and solve, are the names of two stages of the alchemical process that leads to the creation of the alchemical force. . The inverted pentagram was a symbol of John the Baptist, who embodied the alchemical force or "Holy Spirit" "from birth." John, whose name among the Templars included "Baphomet," was the incarnation of Elijah or al Khadir, the Green Man, who by another name is Sanat Kumara (the PEACOCK ANGEL), the founder of the Gnostic-Alchemical Path who arrived on Earth from the Pleiades as pure Kundalini power (Sanat is sometimes conflated with the Christian's fabricated "Lucifer"). John's inverted pentagram symbol looks down from a stained glass window high above the floor in the Gothic Cathedral of Amiens in France that is dedicated to the Baptist. Freemasonic Lodges are said to be modeled after Solomon's Temple, which was an alchemical cauldron designed to generate and activate the alchemical force, aka the Holy Spirit, Kundalini. Although most modern Freemasons know very little about alchemy, some of the alchemical features of Solomon's Temple still remain in their lodges, including the polar opposite pillars of Jachin and Boaz (alchemy results from uniting the polarity). Another ancient symbol of alchemy and the alchemical force, the inverted pentagram, is typically in the center of the Freemasons lodge and under the main altar, where the alchemical power is the strongest.

The Alchemy of Sense: The Visionary Poetics and Poesis of Arthur Rimbaud www.academia.edu/82936983/The_Alchemy_of_Sense_The_Visionary_Poetics_and_Poesis_of_Arthur_RimbaudSLIDE 1: COVER SLIDE Ladies and Gentlemen, Good Morning. SLIDE 2: OVERVIEW The following paper is concerned with the phenomenon of synaesthesia: in terms of its neurobiological substrates and as a neurological phenomenon, as a rhetorical and poetic device, and as a vehicle of mystical exegesis in the oeuvre of the poet Arthur Rimbaud. SLIDE 3: PORTRAIT of RIMBAUD Famous as a child prodigy and enfant terrible, Rimbaud wrote his last poems at the age of 21 and was dead at 37. However, his short life produced a body of work which has had a profound influence on the development of literature as a whole, and provides us more specifically with a point of access to esotericism and literature in a Gallic context. Before exploring the role of synaethesia in Rimbaud's work, we should first consider the nature of synaesthesia in a neurological context, and consider some of the theories of its development. SLIDE 4 DEFINITION OF SYNAESTHESIA Synaesthesia basically involves a stimulus in one sensory modality giving rise to a sensory impression in another. Classically this involves the phenomenon of coloured hearing, where music invokes associated visual colour impressions. The following quote from a synaesthete provides a typical demonstration. The tetractys and the hebdomad: Blavatsky's Sacred Geometry Unveiled www.academia.edu/40271715/The_tetractys_and_the_hebdomad_Blavatskys_Sacred_Geometry_UnveiledThis article traces essential sources behind the Western reception of Sanskrit terminology relating to subtle anatomy. Focus is on a central period in late 19th-century when the Theosophical Society and its most significant forefront, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (HPB), first presented her doctrine of subtle anatomy. A change in her teaching took place around 1880-81, in an interaction between American, European and Indian theosophists which distinguishes her two major works Isis Unveiled (1877) and The Secret Doctrine (1888). A hypothesis regarding how and why Blavatsky's first doctrine of three human principles (body, soul, and spirit) developed into her later teaching of seven human principles, is also presented. Earlier research has concluded that the exchange of ideas with Hindus and Buddhists initiated the transformation of Blavatsky's doctrine regarding the number of human principles. The article explores another possibility: that HPB's ideas about a seven-fold subtle anatomy was there since the grounding of The Theosophical Society (1875), and that it was rooted in specific numerological, mathematical and geometric speculations which she shared with several other contemporary authors. In classical Greek literature, this genre is referred to as "arithmology," but similar ideas in the New Age-literature would today be called "Sacred Geometry." The article investigate some common arithmological speculations in 19th-century American literature, taking a closer look at concepts like the Pythagorean tetraktys, the symbology of the tetrad, the pyramid, the cube, and the hexagram.

The Occult Knowledge - Strategies of Epistemology in La Société Voudon Gnostique www.academia.edu/7707225/The_Occult_Knowledge_Strategies_of_Epistemology_in_La_Soci%C3%A9t%C3%A9_Voudon_GnostiqueThe academic research on Western esotericism in general and contemporary occultism in particular has been largely neglected in earlier scholarship and has only recently gained serious academic attention. This thesis examines how the contemporary occult group, La Société Voudon Gnostique, headed by David Beth and an organization under the general current Voudon Gnosis, legitimate their claims to knowledge, mainly through three discursive strategies of epistemology offered by Olav Hammer, namely: the appeal to (1) tradition; (2) scientism as a language of faith; and narratives of (3) experience. Since Hammer argues that these strategies can be found in esoteric currents in general, but only examines theosophy, anthroposophy and New Age as well as only examining “esoteric spokespersons” this thesis aims at examine them in relation to contemporary occultism as well as in relation to both the spokesperson and to “ordinary adherents”. In order do this, La Société Voudon Gnostique works as a case study in qualification of being a contemporary occult group that has gained no academic attention before. The conclusions of this thesis are that the strategies are all prevalent, to a more or less extent, in La Société Voudon Gnostqiue and they are also used by the adherents. Besides the strategies proposed by Hammer, this thesis argues that the secrecy and elitist approach, which can be found in the texts, also can be seen as a discursive strategy of epistemology.

Chemical Rainbows and Liquid Crystal Souls: The Spirit of Alchemy in the History of Art January 18, 2017, The Getty Center Lecture by David Brafman Introductory remarks by Marcia Reed In medieval Europe, alchemy was known as the Great Art; in Islam, it was simply "the Art." In this lecture, David Brafman, associate curator of rare books at the Getty Research Institute and curator of the exhibition “The Art of Alchemy,” explores this mysterious and misunderstood subject and its influence on artistic practice and expression from antiquity to the present day. From the seeds of its practice in Greco-Egyptian and Chinese antiquity, alchemical knowledge and techniques developed along the medieval "silk routes" of Central Asia, India, and the Middle East. Eventually filtering into Europe, the "Great Art of Alchemy" made an indelible impact on the art, science, and creative culture that flourished in the Renaissance and well into the Enlightenment. Materials invented in alchemical laboratories throughout the world include oil paints, dyes, and inks; cements and ceramic glazing; and dazzling effects in metalwork and glass. The legacy of alchemy persisted through the Industrial Age, yielding the modern media that claim to be the ultimate chemical mirrors of nature: photography and the liquid crystal displays of the digital world. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGp-Rc22b6I

Black Sun' inner Alchemy Everything is one of a pair of opposites…. The Kybalion The Black Sun, as with all alchemical ciphers, is a marriage of opposites. But why were the alchemists so obsessed with such absurd conundrums? Does The Black Sun represent an ontological truism, or more to the point the agony of Perfection. Is the Black Sun a warning against spiritual inflation – the monotheistic notion that we can achieve godhood through simple solar ascent – in other words through the goodness of Christ? Hand-in-hand with Sol niger — i.e., black sun — goes the term lumen naturae – the natural light or the luminous vehicle. Its said that the shine of darkness is the lumen naturae. But this kind of lumen is a subtle one. Imagine a dank tomb, really imagine it, its smell and feel, and you'll start to see maybe a drop of moisture hanging from a cobweb. Its not a burning light, an overpowering ketheric bliss, but a wet jewel, a malleable form of light that can be worked with, can be used to guide you in the dark. The Black Sun represents a psychic fact – the necessity of working in the dark to discover our true imagination. As the archetypal psychologist Stanton Marlon states: It can open the way to some numinous aspects of psychic life and give us a glimpse of the miracle of perception, the mystical union of thought and image; logic and intuition. Qabalah, Qliphoth And Goetic Magic by Thomas Karlsson (Author)
Karlsson, Thomas Ajna, Jacksonville, USA, 2007. Hardcover. Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic is a unique practical introduction to magic. The main thread of the book is the exploration of the Qliphoth and the dark mysteries which have for so long been a repressed part of western esotericism. Instead of ignoring and denying the dark side, the author reveals, step by step, how man can get to know his Shadow and, through this, reach a deeper knowledge of the Self. By exploring and not by repressing the Shadow it can be transformed from a destructive force into a creative power. The book deals with the problem of evil, the symbolism behind the fall of Lucifer and mans creation process according to Qabalistic philosophy. The theories that are presented in this book are also linked to practice. Several examples of rituals, meditations, magical exercises and occult correspondences can be found within. Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic contains more than one hundred demonic sigils and pieces of art that were created specifically for this book. A unique collection of all the sigils from the classic grimoires Lemegeton: The Lesser Key of Solomon and the infamous Grimorium Verum are also included. Thomas Karlsson has studied and practiced the occult sciences for more than fifteen years and is the founder of the esoteric order Dragon Rouge. He is a doctoral candidate in the History of Religion and holds a M. A. in the History of Ideas. Thomas Karlsson authored the book Uthark Nightside of the Runes (Ouroboros Produktion, 2002) and gives seminars and lectures on a regular basis.

Temple of Ascending Flame - ascendingflame.com/Temple of Ascending Flame was founded on 21st December 2012 as a gate to the Draconian Current, arising from inspiration received from Lucifer and Draconian Gods, and in response to inquiries and expectations of those who wished to walk the Path of the Dragon. We are not a "magical order". We do not charge fees for membership and our Work is not based on any hierarchies. There are no restrictions on participation in our open projects and in our inner Work we welcome all who are capable of receiving and channeling the Gnosis of the Dragon. Our wish and Primary Goal is to provide initial guidance to those who seek illumination through the Flames of the Light Bearer and in the coils of Leviathan, those who are ready to descend into Qlipothic depths beneath the Tree of Life, travel through the pathways of Lilith, and step into the Void, the very Womb of the Dragon, in order to become reborn and arise as Gods incarnate. The Secondary Goal is to empower the Adversarial Current of Lucifer who ignites the Ascending Flame and is the patron God of the Temple. Our Work is to ground and strengthen His Gnosis on earth, to promote Him as the Archetype of the Adversary, the emblem of antinomian rebellion against mainstream consciousness, herd mentality, all-present brainwashing, fake spiritual experience powered up by artificial substances, mind slavery imposed by social and religious doctrines, death of individuality, inertia in which "magicians" get stuck in front of their computers or cell phones, wasting time and energy for empty discussions instead of seeking genuine experience, the sleep of the soul, rationality, scientific craze with attempts to measure and define the Infinite, inability to feel, see, think and love, in which everything is reduced to physical experience. Lucifer is the supreme emblem of the Age of Re-Awakening, arising to destroy artificial structures of the world, the reality in which we are trapped in delusion of being liberated and illuminated, while at the same time we are afraid to leave the house, to turn off the PC, shut down the cell phone or TV, scared to stay alone and face the silence in which we could hear our own thoughts, always trying to fill the empty space and never looking into the Void where the real Illumination is born. He stands for the real Liberation and Enlightenment, the awakening of consciousness and the power to rise to the stars and to become God Incarnate, bringing forth the powers that over the centuries were only viewed as legendary and mythical. He is the Fire of the Dragon that is now rising from the Void to burn the petty world of man and clear the way for Gods Incarnate. He is the Flame of the Soul ascending to Divinity. In the present Aeon, Draconian Current in its primal Atlantean form is descending through stellar gateways and ascending from beneath the roots of the Cosmic Tree, where the Dragon lies coiled, holding the Universe in Her timeless embrace. As the Dragon awakens and uncoils, this current of cosmic energy is being earthed and revealed to the world again. The Black Waters of Tiamat are stirring and Atlantis is rising up from the Void. In the present world, Atlantis is a symbol of the forgotten primal power that holds the keys to transformation of Man into God. On the Draconian Path this force is known as the Dragon. It is the primordial Serpent who coils around the Universe, The Eye in the Void, the Eternal Fire of Soul Ascension. It is the Beginning and the End of all things, the Cosmic Womb and the Dark Matter, the source of all Creation and the principle of final Disintegration. The initiatory work of the Temple consists of methods and techniques used to adjust receptivity of the mind and the soul to the energies of the Current through rituals, meditations, invocations, evocations, travelling between dimensions in order to explore worlds beyond the universe of man and to bring this knowledge onto the earth. This is a tremendous power that holds the keys to initiatory alchemy of the soul. The main purpose of this work is to prepare the aspiring Initiate for personal ascent on the Adversarial Path of Self-Deification, first - through basic methods and techniques of Draconian magic, then - through more advanced projects and self-initiatory practices that will empower individual's progress on the path. The projects of the Temple include the lost gnosis of Atlantis, masks and powers of Lucifer, secret pathways of the Spider Queen, the Crossroads of Hecate, dark paths of the Qliphothic Tree and the Tunnels of Set, gods and spirits of witchcraft, stellar gateways, thrones of Draconian Gods, powers to bless and curse, mysteries of death and spirit binding, evocation, Lilith's alchemy of flesh, rites of self-empowerment and elevation, secrets of blood and sacrifice, pacts with dark gods and spirits, and many more. We also publish esoteric books dedicated to the Draconian Current in its various manifestations and traditions, revealing aspects of this primordial Gnosis to those who begin the journey of the soul, and assisting in the initiatory process upon the Path of the Dragon.
