The figure in the Views column seems to show the number of times an article has been viewed, even if only a few people have viewed it, but one or more of those people may have viewed it many times. I think it would be more informative if it showed instead the number of different users who have viewed the article, regardless of how many times they have done so. This setting in the interface is probably controlled by a parameter that can be set by an administrator. (But it's not a hugely important matter, there need be no rush to change it, and perhaps most people prefer it the way it is.)

A small observation: a thread I created an hour or so ago was shown as having had a steady 6 views. I made one small edit, and during that short time, apparently as the direct result of the edit (although I cannot be sure), the number of views jumped to 9.
