"DO NOT DESPAIR. Despite their victory, you don't see the Tory's dancing and celebrating. There is a good reason for this. This was a "get Brexit done" election and the Tory strategists got that part right. Neo-Liberalism (what is called market capitalism) has brought the world to the brink of environmental catastrophe. More and more people realise this and won't go with it. Centerism is dead. Good! It's either right-wing free-marketism or socialism. Remember with a half million members, Labour remains the largest political party in Europe. More than a third of voters voted for Socialism. Labour managed to record more votes than it achieved in Tony Blair’s 2005 election victory – with 10,292,354 compared to 9,566,618. Imagine a Labour party with 1 million members. I'm optimistic. The battle of ideas is just getting started." www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/election-turnout-results-labour-corbyn-blair-votes-conservatives-a9245181.html

‘Such a disaster could not happen without widespread complicity. His plays probe the psychological mechanisms that lead a nation to abandon its ideals and even its self-interest. Why would anyone be drawn to a leader manifestly unsuited to govern, someone dangerously impulsive or viciously conniving or indifferent to the truth? Why do otherwise proud and self-respecting people submit to the sheer effrontery of the tyrant, his sense that he can get away with saying anything he likes, his spectacular indecency?’

Classical Conditioning.
Pavlov’s dogs, and the smear campaign against Jeremy Corbyn.
"I am going out on a limb here and putting forward the theory, that this was the first election that has been fought using Classical Conditioning to demonise the opposition. Classical Conditioning, also referred to as Pavlovian, or Respondent Conditioning, refers to a subliminal learning procedure, in which a certain biologically potent stimulus triggers an automatic response, or reaction. This was investigated by Ivan Pavlov at the end of the 19th century. He noticed that dogs salivated naturally when he fed them meat. This is an automatic response for the dog, as it recognises the smell and sight of the meat. The salivation is the result preparatory to eating the meat. This is totally automatic and natural. Now we move to the conditioning of the dogs using classical conditioning, or brainwashing.
The next step is to use a third and unrelated stimulus to trigger the salivation response. Pavlov now rang a bell before each dog was served with meat. The dog heard the bell, but there was no response. Now the dog is fed meat. Again it only salivates when it sees the meat. After a short while following the Bell – Meat – Salivation cycle, the dogs actually started to salivate when they heard the bell. They had been conditioned to salivate every time that the bell rang, before the initial stimulus, the meat, was seen, or smelled. The dogs had now become conditioned. The dogs were in fact, brainwashed. Jump forward to 2015. By accident a long serving Labour backbencher suddenly found himself named as a new leader for the Labour Party. His calm good sense and long history of fighting for justice for the oppressed people of the world suddenly became news. The establishment wrote him off for a while, but he won by a huge majority and hundreds of thousands of people joined the Labour Party just to vote for him and raise him up as leader. His awards and peace prizes were suddenly well known about. How he supported Nelson Mandela and fought apartheid in South Africa, when few people here were doing this, and the government under Thatcher were still supportive of the old white supremacist regime. We all know now how that has led to a democratic system in South Africa, with Nelson Mandela as the first President. A little less known, is Jeremy Corbyn’s ongoing fight against racism and antisemitism in all walks of life. His successful tenure as MP for Islington North, a truly multicultural society, bears strong witness to this. Maybe even less known than that, is Corbyn’s work in Northern Ireland during The Troubles. Labour’s Mo Mowlem was sent to try and find a solution to the long sectarian war. By talking to members of the Northern Ireland Parties, a path to peace was found that led to the Good Friday agreement. Politicians on both sides praised the work done by Jeremy Corbyn. Jeremy Corbyn was awarded the Seán MacBride Peace Prize for his sustained and powerful political work for disarmament and peace. This includes his opposition to The Iraq War, that has been responsible for so many deaths, Libya, Syria, the bombing of Yemen, and the war against the people of Palestine.
He is a low expense claimer, wants more accountability in Parliament, and is a believer in supporting the people. The latter is very evident from his support by his constituents. There were no scandals, dirty deeds, deceit, or lies, so more and more people started to follow him. He was stabbed in the back by some of his own members, despite our full support of him. He then stood for re-election and won by an even bigger margin. He was starting to get as popular as a huge rock star, with thousands travelling to see him talk. He has been shown to be the calm voice statesman that will not be drawn into name calling and smears. The people who meet him love him, and he really cares for them. To the Establishment and their Tory Party Lackeys, this was very worrying. Having an honest man in No 10 was dangerous. It would severely hamper their plans to strip the people of the UK of everything. Corbyn could not be allowed to continue, so the smears and lies start. They can’t find anything true to print, so it has to be lies. After May’s desperate election. Labour were ready to take office. They would have formed a minority government and relied on facts and popular policies to move us forward. May lied to the Queen to stop Labour taking office, in a cynical and blatant lie about the DUP. Good results, and a good sign for the future of a Labour Government. He continued to fight for the people of the UK and the World, and he looked like a future leader. People still flocked to see him.
Back to the Classic Conditioning. It was said that if you speak a lie often enough it becomes the truth. This has been the theme for some time now. The same old smears, the racism, antisemitism, IRA and the rest were fed into the subconscious of the public every day in the Billionaire Press, the media, and on the BBC News. This constant drip of venom paid off. People had been conditioned. When someone mentions Jeremy Corbyn, it opens up a floodgate of all those old and discredited lies. People can now quote them verbatim straight from the press stories, lies and smears. Just as Pavlov’s Dogs started to salivate at the sound of the dinner bell, the public started to repeat what they had been told. Jeremy Corbyn? Antisemite, racist, terrorist sympathiser, IRA member, Russian Spy, danger to national security. Recognise them? Of course you do. We have all been conditioned to a point, but many of us have sought the truth.
Why are we all not brainwashed? Well, not all of us read the Tory rags, The Sun, Times, Telegraph, Daily Mail and the rest. Not all of us rely on the BBC for news. So, there it is, a large percentage of the British Public has been conditioned to hate Jeremy Corbyn and Labour, based on years of the media repeating the lies about them. The Potent Stimulus used by the media is simply to say, or print “Jeremy Corbyn,” to get the desired response.
How many times do we hear the same answer to this question? Why won’t you vote for Jeremy Corbyn? Answer: “Because I don’t like him.” “Why don’t you like him?” Answer: “I don’t know.” Then out come all the lies, learned Parrot Fashion from the media. Jeremy Corbyn had to waste so many hours fighting the lies, that it was hard to get across the real message. It’s not just Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party, similar conditioning is done against ethnic groups every day. The media has moved from reporting the news to producing a long list of propaganda lies. Where will this end? The Tories won’t do anything to stop it, as they need it to win elections. What do you reckon?"
