"Since the middle of the fifteenth century, a gradual transformation of intelligence is taking place. Although it is still very much like that of the Greeks it is undergoing a transformation, and we are in the beginning of it. In the coming centuries and millennia this intelligence will become something very, very different. Even today it shows a tendency toward what will come in future, a tendency merely to grasp what is error, untruth, deception; a tendency to ponder only what is evil. The mystery pupils and especially the initiates had known for some time that human intelligence approaches its development toward evil, and that it becomes more and more impossible to recognize the good through mere intelligence. Mankind finds itself today within this transition. We may say, it is still barely possible, if men exert their intelligence and do not bear especially wild instincts in themselves, to look toward the light of what is good. But human intelligence will more and more develop the inclination to plan evil, to bring error into knowledge, and insert evil into man’s moral life. This is one of the reasons initiates called themselves men of anxiety. Indeed, if one observes the evolution of mankind from this aspect as I have just done, it causes anxiety, precisely because of the way intelligence is developing. It is not for nothing that it fills modern man with pride and haughtiness. This is the pre-taste of intelligence becoming evil in the fifth post-Atlantean age, which is beginning now. If man were not to develop anything else but intelligence he would become an evil being on earth. If we want to think of a wholesome future for mankind, we must not count on the one-sided development of intelligence. In Egypt and Chaldea, it was good; later it entered into a relationship with the forces of death; and it will enter into a relationship with the forces of error, deception, and evil. This is something about which mankind should have no illusions. In an unbiased fashion humanity should reckon with the fact that it has to protect itself against this one-sided development of intelligence. It is not in vain that precisely through the anthroposophically oriented science of the spirit another element will be added by taking in what can be gained through a renewed perception of the spiritual world. This cannot be grasped by intelligence, but only if we take into ourselves what the science of initiation brings down from the spiritual world through vision."

"Extreme capitalism thus has on the one hand this terribly abstract moral-spiritual life, which seeks to separate itself entirely from all the external realities of existence. There is, however, another attitude in modern life which has exercised just as evil an influence: as materialistic capitalism, namely that attitude which induces people to say: “What do I care about Ahriman! Let Ahriman be Ahriman; I devote myself to the impulses of my innermost soul, I surrender to the spiritual world. I seek the spiritual world within my own being; my chief interest is the soul and its concerns. What do I care for Ahrimanic things, such as credit, money, income and property! What do I care for the difference between profit and assets, etc! I care for the things which concern my soul!” But even as man unites within himself body, soul and spirit, which are linked together during the life between birth and death, at the impulses which we may find through our soul’s innermost structure are connected, in external physical life, with the impulses contained in the external economic order. Those who are merely devout, even devout in spiritual science, are just as much responsible for the catastrophes of the present time as the capitalists with their materialistic attitude and mentality; they are just as guilty as the capitalists, through the fact that they enclose spiritual-scientific truths within their own abstract limits and are not willing to permeate everyday reality with penetrating thoughts. This fact has again and again induced me to tell you that the Anthroposophical spiritual movement should not be regarded as something which gives you the opportunity to listen to Sunday afternoon sermons, which caress the soul because they speak of an everlasting life, and so forth, but the Anthroposophical movement should be taken as a path which enables us to cope in a real, concrete way with the modern problems of life, the burning problems of the present. One of the first requirements is this: to understand from where we must set out, and that everything will be of no use whatever unless people find access to a really unprejudiced way of thinking."

“Out of the crowded centuries of your experiences, your karma follows you. You have forgotten, but your karma has not forgotten you. Human suffering is not a sign of God’s anger with mankind. It is a sign, rather, of man’s ignorance of the Divine Law which is forever infallible in its workings. Remember, on this earth pain is certain but suffering is always optional. Suffering is always a good teacher to those who are quick and willing to learn form it. Suffering can teach you almost everything. Its lessons urge you to develop discrimination, self-control, non-attachment, morality and other spiritual qualities. The pain from loss of possessions or loved ones will remind you of the temporal nature of all things in this world of delusion. The consequences of wrong actions impel you to exercise discrimination. So learn through wisdom, then you won’t subject yourself to unnecessary painful discipline from the hard taskmaster of suffering.
Ultimately it is spiritual poverty that lies at the core of all human suffering. The greatest sin is ignorance, not to know what life is all about. And the greatest virtue is wisdom. So open the windows of your hearts to the clear light of Truth. You are born for the sole purpose of learning how to break the cords that bind your soul. You are in a cocoon of your own bad habits and you must be freed. So break these bonds now ! Be thankful for all the difficult situations in your life that have aroused your innate powers and have helped you to learn and grow in wisdom and strength. In the end there are three things that matter the most: How fully did you live ? How deeply did you let go ? How well did you Love ?”

~ About Fear ~ "The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown." Lovecraft * There are beings in the spiritual realms for whom anxiety and fear emanating from human beings offer welcome food. When humans have no anxiety and fear, then these creatures starve. People not yet sufficiently convinced of this statement could understand it to be meant comparatively only. But for those who are familiar with this phenomenon, it is a reality. If fear and anxiety radiates from people and they break out in panic, then these creatures find welcome nutrition and they become more and more powerful. These beings are hostile towards humanity. Everything that feeds on negative feelings, on anxiety, fear and superstition, despair or doubt, are in reality hostile forces in supersensible worlds, launching cruel attacks on human beings, while they are being fed. Therefore, it is above all necessary to begin with that the person who enters the spiritual world overcomes fear, feelings of helplessness, despair and anxiety. But these are exactly the feelings that belong to contemporary culture and materialism; because it estranges people from the spiritual world, it is especially suited to evoke hopelessness and fear of the unknown in people, thereby calling up the above mentioned hostile forces against them. Vajrakilaya Practice according to the Nyingmapa Tradition Weekend Seminar via Zoom [Saturday and Sunday, times 15-19, with breaks.] us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_SxQtavNvQeGjZte8blJntAIn his heart, an enlightened being like the Buddha or a Great Bodhisattva, is calm, peaceful, and totally compassionate. But in order to subdue and transform negative energies, often embodied as evil spirits, especially those that arise directly from the poisonous passions of anger and hatred, it is necessary on occasion for such compassionate enlightened beings to display a wrathful face and form and engage in wrathful actions. Thus, when the demon sorcerer Rudra threatened to enslave and even extinguish nascent humanity in prehistoric times, the great Bodhisattva Vajrapani, also known as Vajrasattva, adopted this exceedingly terrifying form of Vajrakilaya in order to subdue Rudra and his minions. The demon Rudra symbolizes the inflated ego and the evils it causes. In general, the function of Vajrakilaya practice is to overcome obstacles and demolish negative energies afflicting the life of the individual practitioner. For the overcoming and subduing of demons, evil, spirits, and negative energies generally in his own time, it is said that Vajrakilaya was the personal meditation practice of Guru Padmasambhava himself, as well as that of his consort, the Tibetan princess Yeshe Tsogyal, who wrote the first Tibetan commentary on this practice. These methods include the higher spiritual practices (stod-las) for attaining liberation and enlightenment and the more practical magical ritual actions (smad-las) for subduing and transforming negative energy in daily life. As embodied in the Yidam, or meditation deity, Vajrakilaya is among one of the most popular meditation and ritual practices in the Nyingmapa tradition, the oldest school of Tibetan Buddhism. In terms of Buddhist practices in Tibet, along with the Longchen Nyingthik, the Düdjom Tersar has become among the most popular and widespread Terma cycles of practice among the Nyingmapas, both monks and Ngakpa Lamas, or yogis. It is said that these cycles of the Düdjom Vajrakilaya complete the revelation of this practice in terms of Mahayoga Tantra, Anuyoga Tantra, and Atiyoga or Dzogchen, as originally taught and inaugurated by Padmasambhava among his circle of Tibetan disciples. This seminar will introduce some of these meditation and ritual practices for Vajrakilaya according to the Düdjom Tersar, in particular, from the sPu-gri reg-phung, “the Razor that Destroys at a Touch.”

The ancients, who named but four elements, made of æther a fifth one. On account of its essence being made divine by the unseen presence it was considered as a medium between this world and the next. They held that when the directing intelligences retired from any portion of ether, one of the four kingdoms which they are bound to superintend, the space was left in possession of evil. An adept who prepared to converse with the "invisibles," had to know well his ritual, and be perfectly acquainted with the conditions required for the perfect equilibrium of the four elements in the astral light. First of all, he must purify the essence, and within the circle in which he sought to attract the pure spirits, equilibrize the elements, so as to prevent the ingress of the elementaries into their respective spheres. But woe to the imprudent inquirer who ignorantly trespasses upon forbidden ground; danger will beset him at every step. He evokes powers that he cannot control; he arouses sentries which allow only their masters to pass. For, in the words of the immortal Rosicrucian, "Once that thou hast resolved to become a cooperator with the spirit of the living God, take care not to hinder Him in His work; for, if thy heat exceeds the natural proportion thou hast stirr'd the wrath of the Moyst * natures, and they will stand up against the central fire, and the central fire against them, and there will be a terrible division in the chaos."

Buddhist nuns and female scholars are gaining new leadership roles, in a tradition that began with the ordination of Buddha’s foster mother theconversation.com/buddhist-nuns-and-female-scholars-are-gaining-new-leadership-roles-in-a-tradition-that-began-with-the-ordination-of-buddhas-foster-mother-172477In recent years, many Buddhist nuns have taken on leadership roles that require either ordination status or academic degrees, all of which was quite unheard of in Buddhist monastic traditions in the past. However, this change has also met with much resistance, as traditionally Buddhism has allowed only men to serve in these roles. The early Pali Vinaya texts in the Buddhist canon recount how Buddha thrice rejected the request of his foster mother, Mahaprajapati, to be ordained, before his disciple, Ananda, persuaded him to accept women into the monastic body. Ananda had to make two arguments for his case: an emotional one – that Mahaprajapati had been kind to the Buddha and raised him – and a logical one – that women, too, had the potential to become enlightened. Even so, the Buddha stipulated an extra set of rules – the Eight Heavy Rules, or gurudharma in Sanskrit – that effectively placed the nuns under the supervision of monks. These rules have formed a crucial part of the Buddhist discourse on women’s status.

"The path of seeking truth within and without is not an easy one. It goes literally against everything we’ve been told and taught by society and governments. The indoctrination of lies, the conditioning and programming is deep and far reaching. It has been going on for millennia. It takes tremendous effort to wake up from the hypnotic slumber, where most people dream to be awake. We need to engage our higher emotional center connecting us to divine intuition and also activate our higher intellect, engaging in sincere, open minded critical thinking, fusing the heart and the mind, mysticism and science."

What You Do The spirit does not enter into physical state at any time. It remains in the ether world, but is connected to your human consciousness through the etheric cord attached to your solar plexus. This is a bit like an internet connection where data is flowing in both directions. When this connection is severed the physical body will no longer function, no matter how hard you try to resuscitate it. Your spirit is omnipresent and aware of everything you do. Everything you do, think and feel is being memorised for eternity within your Akashic records. Individually separate only for a heartbeat of time. The difficulty you are having is understanding what spirit is, and so you perceive conflict in its concept. The human consciousness returns to its source; the source of life and its ultimate joy – your spirit. The spirit wears your human consciousness like a costume acting a particular role in a play. Some souls become attached to this particular role after their passing because of their learnt belief systems or adopted attitudes of mind. This is also the case for traumatised souls. In these cases they will not yet be ready to accept nor perceive more of their real identity as a sentient being within a larger collective. The spirit permits this as an opportunity for experience and perspective. Generally those of a spiritual nature on Earth, who have already accepted concepts and beliefs to which I have long described, will very quickly gain access to more aspects of themselves. They will not lose their human consciousness or free will, but it will expand at such a rate as to accept and incorporate more of their true Self. This true Self is the experience you know as love on Earth but magnified a thousand times. Your human consciousness will literally soak in so much love that it will transform the way you perceive who and what you are. This true identity is far more magnificent and beautiful than anything you can think yourself to be on Earth. Where every thought, word and deed you have brings love and joy to another being. You currently judge this ascension as a form of concern and conflict because you are emotionally attached to your human story. Well news for you! You have a far deeper emotional connection to something which awaits you. You cannot presently comprehend the full magnitude and magnificence of your existence outside of your physical one. I have also said before, and shall make reference again, to emphasise its importance. In the spirit world, for those of a loving vibration, it is what you do that defines who you are, not who you are which defines what you do. These concerns and reservations of identity you have previously voiced will not persist once you pass. In this understanding, know the human consciousness will not actually want to remain separate from such profound love and wholeness, that is your spirit. The human being that you now are is already reaching out to your spirit yearning it within every breath. It is the sublime love you most desire within your soul. Does this understanding not bring joy to your heart and resonate a truth beyond doubt? Consciousness is consciousness; it becomes unimportant to label it human any longer. It is what you do, not who you are. Consciousness chooses to incarnate, not human consciousness. The human consciousness does not grow tired. It opens up to higher frequencies of love which reveal more accurate truths. This love erodes the lower density flaws within the character of the soul which gravitates consciousness to divine insights and revelations. The human consciousness becomes so full of love that it cannot be recognised as human. God-consciousness is Self-realised. What do you wish to be? Love or suffering? ~Sparrow

Questioner: How will the mind become quiescent? Maharshi : By the enquiry ‘Who am I?’. The thought ‘Who am I?’ will destroy all other thoughts, and like the stick used for stirring the burning pyre, it will itself in the end get destroyed. Then, there will arise Self-realization. Questioner: What is the means for constantly holding on to the thought ‘Who am I?" Maharishi : When other thoughts arise, one should not pursue them, but should inquire ‘To whom do they arise?’ It does not matter how many thoughts arise. As each thought arises, one should inquire with diligence, ‘To whom has this thought arisen?’. The answer that would emerge would be ‘To me’. Thereupon if one inquires ‘Who am I?’, the mind will go back to its source; and the thought that arose will become quiescent. With repeated practice in this manner, the mind will develop the skill to stay in its source. When the mind that is subtle goes out through the brain and the sense-organs, the gross names and forms appear; when it stays in the Heart, the names and forms disappear. Not letting the mind go out, but retaining it in the Heart is what is called ‘inwardness’ (antarmukha). Letting the mind go out of the Heart is known as ‘externalisation’ (bahirmukha). Thus, when the mind stays in the Heart, the ‘I’ which is the source of all thoughts will go, and the Self which ever exists will shine. Whatever one does, one should do without the egoity ‘I’. If one acts in that way, all will appear as of the nature of Siva (God). 🕉️

The scant information about that sublime Model is contained in a sentence by the Tibetan: “The ceremonial ritual of the daily life of Sanat Kumara, implemented by music and sound and carried on the waves of colour which break upon the shores of the three worlds of human evolution, reveal — in the clearest notes and tones and shades — the deepest secret behind His purpose.” (A Treatise on the Seven Rays – Vol. V, p. 246) *** Great beauty and vast content in very few words. Numerous deductions follow and a process shines through, which is certainly a component of that Purpose: 1) - There is a planetary Rite, performed daily with sounds and lights from the Logos. This reveals, among other things, that its rhythmic unit of measurement - is the day. 2) - The time pulsate through the space. A single daily pulse is transmitted and passed on through the various levels of the evolutionary ladder and involves, whether they know it or not, all creatures and regions of the planet. 3) - Sooner or later major and minor consciousnesses awaken to that regular and constant beat, receive it within themselves and begin to imitate it at their own level. Then they begin to collaborate, albeit obscurely, on the higher Purpose. 4) – Step by step this responsiveness improves and becomes voluntary imitation. It is enriched with lights and sounds, it rises and becomes more and more similar to the Model. A chorus is formed and grows, able to produce an ever more consonant, clear, confident and powerful response. Only with the entirety of infinite multiform reactions can that Call be reproduced. The truth that imitative repetition, however uncertain, is free, just as it must be spontaneous and diversified, is understood and applied. 6) - Life becomes sacred. It turns out that profanity, which seemed prevalent everywhere, exists only out of ignorance, sometimes but not always guilty. The planetary Community is strengthened in all its branches and degrees. 7) - The ritual is established as a unitary law of life, and gradually the purpose of the Logos is revealed and defined. The Seven guides back to the One. These concepts are the theoretical basis of the activity of the System, and show the role and mportance that the ritual must assume in its intimate daily life. When it discovers the infinite world of the heart ( and the Sun as the cosmic Heart centre ) and little by little explores it, then it listens to and understands the divine Word that rules it. If it is true that the Sun presents a unitary rite to its planets-disciples, it is inevitable that it generates a multitude of different rites, as many as the globes involved: they are the responses of each of them to the great Appeal. But their symbolism must be unitary, like an actual interplanetary language. In this we see the irreproachable force of the seventh divine quality - synthesis, which forges many rituals to reach the Ritual. Like grand flowers of light, all the planets worship the Sun, to whom they pay an adoration expressed in many different but interconnecting ways. The combination of all these rituals fosters and expresses solar communion. The Planetary System (TPS) is an idea and project of coordinated cooperation between all who care about the planetary development. blog-en.theplanetarysystem.org/tps/The Model is the reflection of Life blog-en.theplanetarysystem.org/2022/01/23/the-model-is-the-reflection-of-life/

Unity of spirit and matter Atom, in principle, can be considered as the Alpha and Omega of the manifested universe. The potentials of the idea of Atom are infinite and can expand to contain the entire solar system… “The Cosmic Ray is manifested in every Atom of our Solar System and the Universe in general, for the Sun of our Solar System itself can be viewed as an Atom in a still greater Universe.… “Each Atom has its own emanations, rays, or aura. Atomic energy, manifested at the disintegration of the nucleus of an atom, is a destructive power, but its highest quality is psychic energy. The highest aspect of atomic energy is psychic force. Primal Energy exists as a psycho-life in every atom, and in every cell of the All Being." - Cosmological Notes of H.Roerich, 1948 At the core of all matter is a unified field of Materia Lucida, the magnetic psychic force, the infinite Mulaprakriti of the Secret Doctrine, the radiant state of matter in its most fiery intensity. With the impulse of the ever-unknown Be-ness, Materia Lucida forms the primal atomic thought-form of Love-Wisdom. This thought-form emanates the initial iteration of Fohat - the intelligent cosmic electricity that atomizes the primal Atom and then moves spirally to sustain the evolution of complexities of manifested forms. “You are right in terming Materia Lucida the great Mother of the World. You are right in calling Materia Lucida Cosmic Love. Verily, the Universe is woven with the yarn of Lucida and the lever of Love. Poor humanity alone has clothed itself in isolation, with the veil of dark denial.” - Infinity I, 52 As Mahatma K.H explained in a letter to H. P. Sinnet, “When we speak of our One Life we also say that it penetrates, nay is the essence of every atom of matter; and that therefore it not only has correspondence with matter but has all its properties likewise, etc. — hence is material, is matter itself.” - The Mahatma Letters, Letter X The great scientist and theoretical physicist David Bohm, one hundred years later, as if confirming the statement by Mahatma K.H., ”Relativity theory calls for this sort of way of looking at the atomic particles, which constitute all matter, including of course human beings, with their brains, nervous systems, and the observing instruments that they have built and that they use in their laboratories. So, approaching the question in different ways, relativity and quantum theory agree, in that they both imply the need to look on the world as an undivided whole, in which all parts of the universe, including the observer and his instruments, merge and unite in one totality. In this totality, atomistic form of insight is a simplification and an abstraction, valid only in some limited context. The new form of insight can perhaps best be called Undivided Wholeness in Flowing Movement.” - D. Bohm, Wholeness and the Implicate Order The Flowing Movement of spirit-matter or atomic consciousness is regulated by the intensity of fiery magnetism and engagement of the unified field of psychic force. “The radiance of stars and suns comes from the tense adhesion of atoms and molecules. The radiance of the spatial body decreases and even goes out when the cohesion of the molecules weakens…. The fiery force of the Atom is manifested in the power of cohesion of the nucleus. The protective net of the Atom's aura manifests vibrations or radiations that are merging with the fiery environment. In the case of a strong and healthy state of the aura, radiations or vibrations merge into a fiery circle... ” (Cosmological notes of H.Roerich) Same rule can be applied to a human being and every object in the Unified Wholeness of the manifested cosmos.

Explorations of the Esoteric Dreams of the Himalayas www.academia.edu/37311604/Explorations_of_the_Esoteric_Dreams_of_the_HimalayasThe Himalayas – perceived as both a geographical and spiritual space – became a remarkable source of inspiration for many generations of esoteric thin- kers, as well as a tempting travel destination for adventurous individuals sear- ching for new dimensions of occult knowledge. The ancient Buddhist myth of Shambhala was re-thought in the late 19th and early 20th century, influencing esoteric doctrines and inspiring dreams about finding the (physical and spiritual) ways to this hidden domain. The paper presents chosen attempts to conceptualize the Himalayas as a mystic space as well as a place of sotericum-inspired excursions. Among many esoteric currents focused on Eastern myths, Theosophy plays a crucial role in the transmission of the Himalayan dream to Western culture as it appears in early writings of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky. Russian artist and thinker Nikolai Roerich gained particular prominence as an explorer of various dimensions of the Himalayan myth; the mountains were also an important theme in his paintings. Shambhala legends inspired some notable political figures participating in the so-called “Great Game” of world powers for the control over Asia to support and organize expeditions to Tibet in order to gain control over this mysterious land. The aim of the paper is to analyze various aspects of perception of the Himalayas through esoteric imagination.
