"To be able to penetrate into the essence of life, another form of knowledge is necessary. We call this form of knowledge: “Gnosis”. Gnosis refers to inner knowledge, knowledge that originates in the human being in which a special process has started". Gnosis as a word originated from the Greek, meaning knowledge.
The image used for this posting pictures Baphomet holding the key to Gnosis. Though there have been some contradictory opinions regarding the origins of the word. It seems with little doubt Baphomet's origins were derived from the Greek βαϕή baphe, βάπτω ("I dip") "immersion" + Μῆτις, Metis "wisdom," "skill," or "craft."
Baphomet therefore signifies a baptism in wisdom or initiation, but became degraded and misunderstood when the keys to its real meaning were lost. Baphomet symbolically possesses the initiation into the secret mysteries and represents Pan, the force of nature that Adam and Eve have to tame and master in order to return to Eden. A medieval mystic term usually identified with the androgynous figure apparently goes back to the goat of Mendes.
The Templars of Malta were falsely accused of worshiping Baphomet as an idol. But to the Templars this figure represented gnosis.

The times in which our generation lives are not ordinary times. We dwell on the interface between two worlds —a world as it was and a world as it is meant to be. Everything is in place, all the infrastructure to bind the world together as one, the technology by which all of humanity can share deep wisdom, all that is needed so that the secret of oneness can be grasped within the human mind. The stage is set. All that’s left is for us to open our eyes.

“I believe in one God, and no more; and I hope for happiness beyond this life. I believe in the equality of [all]; and I believe that religious duties consists in doing justice, loving mercy, and endeavoring to make our fellow-creatures happy.”

There are two great systems in the body of man: the tree of life, which is the arterial with its roots in the heart; and, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, i.e. the nervous system, which has its roots in the brain. These two "trees" are physical manifestations of a complicated network of branching energy currents in the aura or superphysical bodies."

Healing Begins at Home by Rabbi DovBer Pinson There’s a story about a man who was lowered down a deep shaft, lower and lower, until the darkness was so dark he could touch it with his fingers, the damp cold so damp and cold it seeped through his bones and made them shiver. Finally, without warning, he hit the hard rock bottom. When they pulled him back up, they asked, “So what did you find down there?” “It was cold,” he answered. “What else?” “It was dark,” he answered. "What else?" “What else do you want?” he answered. “I hit rock bottom and it was cold, dark and full of dirt!” “We know it’s full of dirt!” they retorted. “It’s a mine! Now, where are the diamonds?” If you have read about Tikkun, you may have already figured out the story. It’s about us, about how our souls come down to a fractured, light-deprived world. If you don’t know why you’re here, sometimes all you can see is dirt. And there’s no shortage of dirt in this world. But if you know you’re here on a mission, the supreme mission to rescue the lost divine sparks and repair the universe, and if you know that the most brilliant, precious stones are to be found in the darkest, deepest places—then the dirt becomes almost irrelevant. All you see are diamonds. The first place to look for those diamonds is in your own home. Then in your community. Once you can find them there, you’ll see diamonds everywhere.

Black Sun Rising The Black Sun, which represents one of the most essential parts of the invisible forces that govern the alchemical processes of all life. Its Latin name, Sol Niger, the German Schwarze Sonne the Sonnenrad, German for Sun Wheel. In Theosophy, it is known as the “Invisible Sun” and is connected in the occult sciences to prime or dark matter, earth, the Axis Mundi, a mother’s womb, the Self, and the unconscious or what Jung would call – the Collective Unconscious. "There are more fake gurus and false teachers in this world than the number of stars in the visible universe. Don’t confuse power-driven, self-centered people with true mentors. A genuine spiritual master will not direct your attention to himself or herself and will not expect absolute obedience or utter admiration from you, but instead will help you to appreciate and admire your inner self. True mentors are as transparent as glass. They let the light of G-d pass through them."

"Why are the lives of the sages filled with miracles?
Because they open their minds to truth and labor over it day and night. They are the awakened mind of the cosmos—through them the Infinite Light enters this world. So, of course, nature bows to them, the angels wait upon them, and everything is arranged to serve their mission. And so it is with any one of us who seeks the truth and clings to it with heart and soul."

All action is movement, and all action is energy. All desire is energy. All feeling is energy. All thought is energy. All life is energy. Lugh, Celtic sun god.
The Celtic sun god, Lugh, whose name is related to the Latin lux, or, 'light', and means 'the shining one' was a deity cognate to Hercules or Dionysus, the Romans' version of the Greek god Apollo. The Celtic namesake of Lughnasadh comes from the mythos of the god Lugh. He is a patron of the arts, master of crafts, and known for his many diverse talents. Interestingly, the figure of Lucifer shares many commonalities with Lugh also known by his Latin name Lugus, and other wandering gods of the sorcerous road.
In a common Promethean theme, these wisdom deities bring knowledge of all the arts to mankind. Both of these deities have associations as bearers of the illuminating light of gnosis, and Lugh fits this archetype perfectly.
In antiquity, Lugh is equated with the Roman god Mercury/Greek Hermes, as well as Apollo through his association with Lugus. He is often found depicted as being surrounded with solar energy. Like the other Promethean gods, he is also a trickster and master of all cunning arts. Lugh is a god of the forge, which has many associations in traditional witchcraft such as the Clan of Tubal Cain. There is much sacred symbolism and myth attached to smithcraft and masonry. Lugh, and beings like him were believed to have come to earth and taught artisans, musicians, bards and craftsmen their art. The transmission of occult knowledge, the arts and crafts, to humanity was a common theme in various ancient cultures. Various mythologies from different cultures and time periods shared this similar idea of divine beings descending from above to teach mankind the skills that would become the arts and sciences, allowing primitive man to become more godlike.
If we look across various polytheist cultures across Europe and the near east we can find corresponding figures in each pantheon that fit the description of a messenger-type god of communication, bringing heavenly knowledge which is used to teach humanity various crafts.

The Return
Children don’t need alcohol or drugs because they’re intoxicated by the world. They don’t need to accumulate possessions because the world already belongs to them. They don’t need to fill the future with ambitions because they have the present. Children only need to be because being has a natural harmony when you have no sense of separateness and are part of the world’s flowing nowness But when we become adults, self withdraws like an injured athlete, who can’t participate anymore. We watch the world glumly, from a distance, and miss the exhilaration of the game and the joy of belonging to the whole. And from our distant vantage point, the world which once seemed so miraculous becomes familiar and mundane as if an oasis has turned grey and arid. And because we’ve lost the joy of being we give ourselves to having and doing. But nothing that we achieve or gain ever compensates us for our loss. And our yearning for for drugs and distractions is a need to numb the pain of estrangement. Our impulse to accumulate is a need to strengthen our lonely, fragile selves. And all of our spiritual striving is an urge to to transcend our separateness so that we can become children again.

/ "Esoterically, the Hanged Man is the human spirit which is suspended from heaven by a single thread. Wisdom, not death, is the reward for this voluntary sacrifice during which the human soul, suspended above the world of illusion, and meditating upon its unreality, is rewarded by the achievement of self-realization." /

Question: In what sense was it said that one who has not died cannot be born? Answer: All religions speak about death during this life on earth. Death must come before rebirth. But what must die? False confidence in one's own knowledge, self-love and egoism. Our egoism must be broken. We must realize that we are very complicated machines, and so this process of breaking is bound to be a long and difficult task. Before real growth becomes possible, our personality must die.

"The greater you are, the more you need to search for your self. Your deep soul hides itself from consciousness. So you need to increase aloneness, elevation of thinking, penetration of thought, liberation of mind — until finally your soul reveals itself to you, spangling a few sparkles of her lights. Then you find bliss, transcending all humiliations or anything that happens, by attaining equanimity, by becoming one with everything that happens, by reducing yourself so extremely that you nullify your individual, imaginary form, that you nullify existence in the depth of your self. “What are we?” Then you know every spark of truth, every bolt of integrity flashing anywhere. Then you gather everything, without hatred, jealousy, or rivalry. The light of peace and a fierce boldness manifest in you. The desire to act and work, the passion to create and to restore yourself, the yearning for silence and for the inner shout of joy — these all band together in your spirit, and you become holy."
Rav Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook

Death is not real, even in the Relative sense — it is but Birth to a new life — and You shall go on, and on, and on, to higher and still higher planes of life, for aeons upon aeons of time. The Universe is your home, and you shall explore its farthest recesses before the end of Time.
– Three Initiates, The Kybalion
