I don't feel that the Mental Health Forum wants to be overburdened with such polemics, either! Right enough, I can't think of anywhere other than the Icarus Project where it does seem as if such discussions might be positively welcomed. (I've only just registered with the Icarus Project, so I can't say for certain.) Perhaps, if and when www.madinamerica.com/ (oops, I don't yet know how to post a URL clearly in this forum ... ah, thanks, Apo, done it now! ... er, I think?) starts up some forums (as I think you've mentioned they're likely to), that might also be a good place for it? This is my first post in the new forum: I hope it works, and I wish the new forum every success, as well!

(Urp! I can't edit my post, either! ... thanks, done it now!)
Ignore the last part of that too-specific URL I just posted; I meant the Mad in America website in general.

Am trying to find out how to create more functionality for members - so you can edit posts - give me a while to figure out.

Chimera - You should by default have a modify button at top right hand corner of the post.

Yes, sorry, I didn't see that button until you pointed it out. The font in which button labels are displayed is hard to read on my monitor (an ancient 15" CRT), and I can often only read them clearly by allowing the mouse pointer to hover over them for a second or so.
Another readability problem (that has just appeared) is that I cannot easily read black text on a royal blue background (although the alternating and contrasting sky blue background is OK).
I also don't know how to switch from the "Quick Reply" window into the window with full editing and marking-up and spell-checking facilities that you get when you use the "Modify" button after posting ... ah, I see, there is a "Reply" button at the bottom right of each post.

We will look at increasing icon size; & making them clearer. A lot of stuff to iron out on here. Colours will get sorted.

I think the darker blue colour has been changed. (Or, less likely, the text colour has been darkened.) At any rate, it seems much easier for me to read now. Prettier, too - I didn't like the royal blue colour, aesthetically. I like the present two-colour alternating scheme. But the overall blue background behind the two alternating colours of blue is too samey.
(I don't mean it's the colour of blue overalls! Although in fact it is a bit like the colour of some denim clothing.)
