It does seem that Auroville has major problems, what with the lack of safety (32 entrances?) and the mentions of how there is meant to be no money used but cash gets asked for in shops. Also running it groups that didn't want to answer questions about where the funding goes- potentially so easy for idealistic people to get taken advantage of financially.
Though they have the solar power, organic farming and the fact that some people want to live there.

Description In this lecture recorded Oct. 14, 2011, Jacque Fresco discusses specific aspects of “the disciplines” of science. He describes them as tools that enable repeatable findings without being subject to interpretation and varying communication caveats. He reflects on a variety of biological and medical findings as a means of investigating the malleability of human behavior. How much can people change? Are there laws that determine how people change? And what is the relevance of the methodology used in technical and engineering fields, and can it be extended into the field of human behavior? www.thevenusproject.com/product/jacque-fresco-discipline-malleability-of-behavior/

Carlin said: “Here's an interesting form of murder we came up with: assassination. You know what's interesting about assassination? Well, not only does it change those popularity polls in a big fucking hurry, but it's also interesting to notice who it is we assassinate. Did you ever notice who it is? Stop to think who it is we kill? It's always people who've told us to live together in harmony and try to love one another. Jesus, Gandhi, Lincoln, John Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, John Lennon, they all said, "Try to live together peacefully." BAM! Right in the fucking head. Apparently we're not ready for that.”

“Poor human nature, what horrible crimes have been committed in thy name! Every fool, from king to policeman, from the flatheaded parson to the visionless dabbler in science, presumes to speak authoritatively of human nature. The greater the mental charlatan, the more definite his insistence on the wickedness and weaknesses of human nature.”
-Emma Goldman

Humanity has a very long way to go before it gets to anything like what is cited in the OP, & a genuinely civilised, thriving & harmonious World.

Leading from the Emerging Future: From Ego-System to Eco-System Economies [2013 / Book]
by Otto Scharmer (Author), Katrin Kaufer (Author)
Our Time Is Now
"We have entered an age of disruption. Financial collapse, climate change, resource depletion, and a growing gap between rich and poor are but a few of the signs. Otto Scharmer and Katrin Kaufer ask, why do we collectively create results nobody wants? Meeting the challenges of this century requires updating our economic logic and operating system from an obsolete ego-system focused entirely on the well-being of oneself to an eco-system awareness that emphasizes the well-being of the whole. Filled with real-world examples, this thought-provoking guide presents proven practices for building a new economy that is more resilient, intentional, inclusive, and aware."

Colin invited to speak at TEDx Galway, Feb 2019 "Delighted to announce that I will be taking these ideas to the stage at TEDx Galway in Ireland on February the 7th. My talk will be a general focus on the shortcomings of our trading system and how a simple alternative based around cooperation and education is not so far-fetched as people might believe – and how many of us already unknowingly engage in this ‘free’ social contract. The talk will also be my first formal proposal for an Open Access Economy. Many thanks to the TEDx organisers for having the vision to present what are – to all intents and purposes – heretical ideas in a devoutly trading culture. The video of the talk will be posted here shortly afterwards and on our YouTube channel." www.colinrturner.com/2019/01/04/colin-invited-to-speak-at-tedx-galway-feb-2019/The Free World Charter - freeworldcharter.org/en
